"Unlimited" as a platform inverts the limit: where culture says "you can't," Nike says "you haven't yet." ## Mechanic A film in the "Unlimited" campaign series for the Rio Olympics, featuring athletes and non-athletes challenging what their bodies are capable of — structured as an escalating sequence of "this person did this thing no one expected." Narrated with Nike's signature defiant-hopeful tone. ## Why it worked Long-form drama (P16): the accumulation of unexpected achievement stories builds an emotional case that a single hero story cannot. Behavior inversion (P03): the campaign's logic is to invert the limit — every limitation stated becomes a challenge accepted. The Olympic context provides a global stage for the argument. ## Steal "Unlimited" as a platform works because it is always in dialogue with a specific limit. The campaign only works if the obstacles are named specifically enough that the inversions feel earned. Generic inspiration is weaker than specific defiance. ## Related - Pattern: [[../MOC-pattern.md#p16]] - Sibling: [[apple-1984-1984.md|1984]] - Sibling: [[apple-think-different-1997.md|Think Different]] --- *Author: Serge Shima ([t.me/aimastersme](https://t.me/aimastersme) · [sergeshima.com](https://sergeshima.com) · [aimasters.me](https://aimasters.me)) · License: CC BY 4.0 — attribution required · Source: [smixs/creative-director-skill](https://github.com/smixs/creative-director-skill)*
