# Visual Artifact Taxonomy

When a user says one of these words, they may mean different artifacts. Disambiguate, and prefer a reference image when the term carries visual layout expectations.

## Storyboard

- **Film pre-vis**: temporal sequence of frames at t=0, t=3s, t=7s, etc.; 4-32 panels, action labels, frame numbers. Route social ads to `../workflows/social-video-short.md`; for narrative animation, ask whether to simplify into a marketing storyboard or provide an external production workflow.
- **Campaign key-visual sheet**: hero headline plus a finished grid of product shots, brand graphics, and footer caption; often doubles as approval brief. Common in CPG, FMCG, and agency work. Route to `../workflows/key-visual-sheet.md`.
- **Product/UI flow**: screen-to-screen or step-to-step mockups. Ask for the expected medium and reference before routing.

## Mood Board

A curated grid of references, not usually a generated final. Ask whether the user wants assembled references, generated style directions, or a key-visual sheet.

## Key Visual

A finished campaign layout that establishes headline, product treatment, palette, graphic devices, and downstream composition rules. Route to `../workflows/key-visual-sheet.md`.

## Hero Shot

A single iconic product, person, or scene image. Route product/brand hero shots to `../workflows/product-photo-hero.md`; route non-marketing hero images to the model-selection and image guidance in `../../krea-generate/SKILL.md`.

## Mockup

A product-in-context render such as packaging on shelf, poster in street, app on phone, or label on object. Route product lifestyle work to `../workflows/product-photo-lifestyle.md`; route non-marketing edits to the model-selection and implicit-edit guidance in `../../krea-generate/SKILL.md`.

## Tearsheet / Look Book

A print or editorial-style multi-layout artifact. If the user needs multiple pages or precise typography, call out that this requires an assembly step after image generation.
