# Prioritization rubric Evaluate an item only from evidence in the returned message or transcript. Use the strongest applicable band. ## P1 — act now Use P1 when at least one strong signal exists: - explicit deadline within two business days - customer escalation, cancellation/churn signal, safety concern, or serious service failure - revenue-critical lead or deal blocked on a response - repeated unanswered request or a commitment whose promised time has passed - decision, approval, or access blocker stopping another person - urgent legal, billing, security, or account-access issue Lead with the exact deadline or consequence. Avoid P1 when urgency is merely implied by tone. ## P2 — follow up Use P2 for concrete but non-urgent work: - product or service question that still needs an answer - requested quote, demo, document, introduction, or follow-up - qualified interest, buying signal, expansion opportunity, or referral - recurring product friction with a plausible owner or next step - commitment without an imminent deadline - unresolved objection or decision that may affect the relationship ## P3 — keep in view Use P3 for useful context without a required near-term response: - positive customer evidence, praise, or a story worth retaining - early or ambiguous opportunity signal - repeated theme that is not yet actionable - relationship context that may improve a future conversation - informational update with no direct ask ## Exclude Omit: - greetings, acknowledgements, and routine scheduling chatter - spam, wrong numbers, automated messages, and obvious test traffic - resolved exchanges with no remaining decision or follow-up - unsupported guesses based on silence alone - duplicate fragments from the same conversation ## Tie-breaking Within a band, sort by: 1. deadline or customer harm 2. business impact or blocked work 3. strength of the explicit ask or commitment 4. recency Use neutral language. A recommendation is not a commitment, and an inference is not a fact.
