# The Four Aspects — interpretation reference

Condensed from the book "The Four Aspects: A Practical Guide to Mastering Life with Holistic
Nameology" (Dr. Saadat Bagherigaleh). Use it to interpret and explain tool results — the tools
compute the aspects; this file is how to talk about them.

## The model in one line

A name's SOUND becomes numbers, and the numbers become four aspects. Governing Planet +
Temperament form the **outer self** (the personality others observe); Rising Sign + Rising
Degree form the **inner self** (life themes, events and fortune). The reading uses the name a
person is called in DAILY life — if a nickname is what everyone says, the nickname is what is
read.

## Governing Planet — core personality

| Planet | Character | The book suggests it for |
|---|---|---|
| Moon | curious, truth-seeking, investigative, compassionate — a humble authority | curiosity, science, balance |
| Jupiter | wise, sociable, diplomatic, artistic, level-headed — a happy realist | wisdom, sociability, balance |
| Venus | warm, affectionate, attention-loving, artistic, loyal | an artist or dancer — generally **not recommended for boys** |
| Sun | charismatic, ambitious — a natural leader who wants to be admired | a future leader or actor |
| Mercury | highly intelligent, quick, analytical | a highly intelligent child |
| Mars | energetic, courageous — a fighter | a fighter or soldier |
| Saturn | disciplined, authoritative — a commander | a commander |

Newborn rule (Ch. 7): "Moon and Jupiter are particularly favorable for newborns, regardless of
parental preferences" — nurturing influences with fewer negative sides and less difficulty for
the parents. A goal-based planet (leader → Sun, etc.) is a deliberate parental choice, not the
default.

## Temperament — the emotional lens tuning the planet

| Element | Character |
|---|---|
| Fire | impulsive, passionate, energetic; intense but fleeting emotions — amplifies the planet's drive; the book links Fire to spiritual talents |
| Air | intellectual, adaptable — stabilizes emotions with reason |
| Water | sensitive, comfort-seeking, reflective; can withdraw |
| Earth | steady, practical, calm; stubborn and resistant to change |

Newborn rule (Ch. 7): "Avoid Earth and Water Temperaments, as they tend to amplify extremes of
planetary characteristics. Instead, favor Fire and Air" — smoother development for child and
parents alike.

## Rising Sign — recurring life themes (the roadmap)

Signs group by element: Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) · Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) ·
Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) · Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces).

Newborn rule (Ch. 7): "Rising Signs with Fire or Earth elements are recommended for newborns,
as they offer a balanced and stable foundation."

## Rising Degree — fortune, never read alone

The Rising Degree governs temporary but impactful events and is "never interpreted alone" — it
combines with the Rising Sign, and the pairing of their ELEMENTS gives the fortune verdict:

| Rising Sign × Rising Degree | Verdict |
|---|---|
| Fire × Air | extremely fortunate in emotional matters |
| Fire × Water | extreme misfortune in emotional life |
| Fire × Earth | balanced, stable; emotional matters average |
| Earth × Water | good fortune, especially material/financial stability |
| Earth × Air | significant material misfortune |
| Air × Water | turmoil; average emotional and material outcomes |

Newborn rule (Ch. 7): "Use good or excellent fortune for your newborn." The tools return the
engine's fortune verdict — present that verdict; this table is for explaining WHY.

## The four newborn criteria (how the tools rank)

A candidate meets 0–4 of: ① Moon/Jupiter Governing Planet · ② Fire/Air Temperament ·
③ Fire- or Earth-element Rising Sign · ④ good-or-excellent fortune. `holistic_score` is the
count. The book treats these as a checklist to satisfy together — "discard names that amplify
challenging traits or misalign with life themes" — not as a single number to maximise.

## The book's naming process (Ch. 7)

1. **Gather and convert** candidate names, including culturally significant options, and
   cross-check alternative spellings and pronunciations.
2. **Calculate** the Four Aspects for each candidate — and consider harmony with sibling and
   parental names.
3. **Shortlist** the aligned names; discard the misaligned.
4. **Test resonance**: say each name aloud, visualize the child's future — the name should feel
empowering. Family feedback matters, but stay true to the aspects.

## Beyond the aspects — the book's other factors

Family traditions and cultural fit · avoiding names tied to negative figures · the meaning of
the name · popularity vs. uniqueness (avoid superficial trends) · easy, inclusive
pronunciation · timeless appeal. And from Ch. 3: unusual spellings backfire — "it's your
child's identity, not a competition or expression of your identity." The book's own priority:
"always prioritize the deeper essence of the name — its ability to support your child's
destiny and personal growth — over aesthetic or trendy factors."
