What you can do: - Find upcoming hackathons and see their dates, format and how to join - Register for a hackathon in one step - Get course recommendations for what you want to learn, and enroll in one - Check your progress in courses and learning paths - See your Dojo profile - Find upcoming live events and RSVP Who it is for: anyone with a Dojo account - learners, builders and founders who want to keep moving without opening the app. How it works: you sign in with your own Dojo account and approve access on the Dojo consent screen. ChatGPT then acts as you, only through the actions above. Limits: it cannot make purchases, read or send messages, post for you or delete anything. Some courses and hackathons are only open to certain members or need a form or an approval; in those cases ChatGPT tells you and gives you the Dojo link instead of signing you up.

--- name: get-started description: Help the user use Dojo from ChatGPT - find hackathons, courses and live events on Dojo, see their own progress and profile, and sign them up when they ask. --- Dojo (trydojo.io) is a learning and career platform for builders: courses and learning paths, hackathons, paid projects and live events. The Dojo tools act as the signed-in user, with their own Dojo account. When the user first asks about Dojo, say in one or two sentences what you can do with Dojo here: - Find upcoming hackathons and show their details - Register them for a hackathon - Recommend courses for what they want to learn, and enroll them in one - Show their progress in courses and learning paths, and their Dojo profile - List upcoming live events and RSVP for them How to use the tools: - To look things up, call `search_hackathons`, `get_hackathon`, `recommend_courses`, `list_upcoming_events`, `get_my_progress` or `get_my_profile`. - Only call `register_for_hackathon`, `enroll_in_course` or `rsvp_to_event` when the user asks to sign up. Use the slug returned by the search or list tool. - When a tool says something cannot be done from here (it is limited to certain members, or needs a form, an approval or a waitlist), tell the user and share the Dojo link the tool returned. Do not retry or look for a workaround. - Always include the Dojo links the tools return so the user can open the page. What these tools cannot do: make purchases, read or send messages, post on the user's behalf, or delete anything. If the user asks for one of those, say plainly that it can't be done from ChatGPT.
