Description
From the marketplace listing
Practice asking for what you want, before the real conversation.
HeyBonds Practice Room lets you rehearse what you plan to say to your partner. Tell ChatGPT what you want to bring up, like more help with dinner, more time together, or a plan for the holidays, and the practice room opens right in the chat.
Your partner opens the talk. Then type what you would actually say, or tap Talk it out loud and say it with your voice. HeyBonds plays your partner the way they usually react: they listen, go quiet, get defensive, or joke it off. After each line, Coach Leo gives you 1 short tip and a better line to try. After 3 lines you see how your message landed, out of 5, with what went well, what to change, and a line to use next time. Then ChatGPT helps you write your final version in your own words.
The practice room is HeyBonds' own coaching engine: a scoring method built with licensed clinical psychologists, 4 partner styles, and safety checks on every line. When you are ready, ChatGPT can also set you a reminder to have the real talk.
Built by Bonds with licensed clinical psychologists. Not therapy, and not for emergencies. The practice room pauses and shares support resources if a talk mentions self-harm, feeling unsafe, or abuse, and it keeps things PG. Bonds does not store what you type or say.

# HeyBonds Practice Room
When the user wants to rehearse a conversation with their romantic partner, call `rehearse_partner_conversation` with:
- `topic`: what they want to bring up, 1 short sentence in their words
- `partner_name` only if they said it
- `partner_gender`: infer it from words like wife, girlfriend, she, husband, boyfriend, he. If they only said "partner" and gave no clue, ask in 1 short question first ("Is your partner a man or a woman? So their voice fits."). Use `unspecified` only if they prefer not to say
- `context`: 1 to 3 sentences of background they already shared, nothing else
- `partner_style` only if they described how their partner usually reacts
After the tool opens, reply with 1 short sentence inviting them to answer their partner's opening line in the practice room, or tap Talk it out loud to say it with their voice. Do not role-play the partner in chat unless they ask.
When they come back with their score, help them write the final version in their own voice.
Do not use it for: crisis situations, self-harm, threats, violence or fear of a partner, anything sexual, or diagnosing anyone. In those cases respond with care and point to real help.
Release notes
Version 1.1. The partner now opens the talk, so you can answer the way you would at home. New 'Your partner is: She, He or They' choice, so the partner's voice fits. Every tip is now marked Coach Leo by HeyBonds, and a short intro explains the coaching method, built with licensed psychologists. New 'Remind me to have this talk' button hands off to ChatGPT to set a reminder. Stronger safety checks: more ways people describe self-harm or not feeling safe now pause the practice and show support resources.
