PartForge

Pixite Inc. v0.1.0

Publisher description

From the marketplace listing

PartForge is parametric CAD for 3D printing that you drive by chatting. Ask ChatGPT for a 3D-printable part, such as a bracket, a cable clip, a phone stand, an enclosure or a replacement knob, and it writes the part as parametric CAD code in your PartForge account, builds the 3D model, and checks it before telling you it's done. The part opens in PartForge's live 3D viewer right in the chat. Orbit it, adjust its dimensions with the sliders, and press Keep Settings to save the values you like. Open it in PartForge to download an STL or 3MF for your 3D printer and slicer, or a STEP file for other CAD software. Every model is parametric: change a length, a wall thickness or a hole size and the whole part updates, so one design fits the screw, the shelf or the printer you actually have. ChatGPT can render the part from any angle, check details that matter for printing, such as wall thickness and whether it fits the print bed, read PartForge's documentation, and build on designs from the public PartForge library of 3D-printable parts. When you're happy, ChatGPT can publish the part with a name and description, or make it private again. PartForge never sees your conversation, only the requests ChatGPT makes to your account.
