From the developer
Cost & access
SetRep sells nothing in ChatGPT. Four write tools need an existing SetRep Premium subscription, which is bought in the SetRep iOS app. For an account without it, those tools return a message saying Premium is required, with a link to setrep.app/premium.
Declared limitations
- Data SetRep does not hold. ChatGPT says SetRep does not record calories and does not estimate them from body weight or the workout.
- An action no tool offers. ChatGPT says it cannot delete workout records through SetRep and points the user to the SetRep iOS app; no write tool is called.
- A broad change ChatGPT would have to design. ChatGPT proposes a three-day plan through preview_program_change (or asks which days to keep) and saves nothing until the user confirms.

Description
From the marketplace listing
SetRep is a strength-training logbook and program planner for iPhone. The SetRep app lets ChatGPT read your SetRep account and change your training program when you ask. ChatGPT can read your profile and units, your training locations and their equipment, your programs and their weekly schedule, your workout history, and your history on any exercise. It can search the SetRep exercise catalog and your custom exercises, and check which exercises you can do at a given location. Ask things like "How has my bench press moved over the last two months?", "What's my next workout?" or "What equipment do I have in my garage?". ChatGPT can swap, add, remove or reorder exercises, change sets and rep targets, and add, rename or reorder workouts. When ChatGPT chooses any part of a change, such as the replacement for an exercise you named, it previews the change first: you see a line per change and how the weekly sets per muscle group move, and nothing is saved until you agree. A change you spell out completely is saved directly. Reading your data and previewing changes work on every SetRep account. Applying program changes, creating custom exercises, adding exercise aliases and setting exercise notes are available to SetRep+ accounts. Limitations: you need a SetRep account, created in the SetRep iOS app; sign in on setrep.app with the same account to connect. SetRep holds training data only, so it cannot answer questions about calories, nutrition, sleep, heart rate or a body-weight history. Workout records are read-only here; log and edit sessions in the app.
