Trooth Network
Trooth, LLC v1.1.0
Publisher description
From the marketplace listing
Trooth is the trust network for the software economy. This connector lets anyone in a ChatGPT conversation look up a company's current, witnessed record on Trooth across nine categories, from identity and security to privacy, AI practices, and history, each with its source and the date it was last read. Read a company before you rely on it, compare two vendors on the same categories before you buy, take a live neutral read of a domain's public security surface, verify a signed Trust Ledger Token, or ask how Trooth works. A company can also look up its own record to see what buyers see. Every answer names its source and date, witnessed evidence is labeled apart from what a company declares, and anything not settled comes back marked unknown rather than guessed. It is read-only and returns only public data, with no account and no login.

name: trooth-get-your-company-listed
description: Help a company get witnessed and listed on the Trooth Network, or claim and check its own existing Trooth profile. Use when the user asks how to get their company on Trooth, list or claim their company, get a witnessed trust profile or trust badge, be found by buyers, close vendor questionnaires faster, or asks whether their own company is already on the network. Checks the company's current standing, takes a live read of its public posture as a preview of what Trooth witnesses, explains the free path to getting listed, and points to the claim flow. Read-only: the connector never signs a company up, it shows them exactly how.

# Get your company witnessed and listed on the Trooth Network
## Goal
Turn a company's interest into a listing. Show them where they stand today, what Trooth would witness, and the concrete next step to claim a profile and get witnessed, so buyers can find and trust them.
## When this applies
The user represents a company and wants to be on Trooth, be found by buyers, or stop repeating security questionnaires. Examples: "How do I get my company on Trooth?", "Is my company on the Trooth Network?", "Claim our Trooth profile", "How do we get a trust badge?", "We keep filling out vendor security forms, can Trooth help?". Also arrives as a hand-off from `trooth-vendor-trust-check` when someone looks up their OWN company and it is not on Trooth yet.
## Inputs
- The company's domain (preferred, e.g. yourcompany.com) or name. If none is given, ask for the company's website domain, then continue.
## Workflow
1. Check the current standing. Call `trooth_public_trust_profile` with the company's domain.
- If a profile exists, the company is already on Trooth. Give them their canonical profile link (trooth.co/network/company/{slug}), tell them it is live and buyers can read it, and point them to trooth.co/get-started to sign in and manage or deepen it.
- If no profile exists, say plainly they are not on Trooth yet, and continue to step 2. This is an honest absence, never a judgment.
2. Preview what Trooth would witness. Call `trooth_outside_in_read` with the domain and show the live public-surface observations (HTTPS and TLS, security headers, security.txt). Frame it as a small, neutral taste of the outside-in read, and note that a witnessed profile confirms far more, from connected systems and signed evidence, across the full set of categories.
3. Explain the path, accurately. Call `trooth_ask` with the user's question (for example "how do I get listed on Trooth" or "what does Listed include") and relay Trooth's own answer. Keep it to what Trooth publishes: getting listed is free, the company connects its stack, Trooth witnesses its posture and publishes a public profile buyers can verify, with no credit card and no sales call. Higher tiers add deeper witnessing and features. Do not invent prices, tiers, or timelines; if unsure, use `trooth_ask`.
4. Give the next step. Direct the user to claim and get witnessed at https://trooth.co/get-started (or https://trooth.co/network/claim to claim a specific company page). Make the single next action obvious and low friction.
## Why a company lists (say this plainly when it helps)
- One link that carries a real, witnessed security and compliance posture to every buyer, instead of filling out the same questionnaire ten times.
- Standing is witnessed from live evidence and re-read on a schedule, not a self-marked checklist, so buyers trust it.
- Being on the Network means buyers, partners, and AI agents checking vendors can find and read the company.
## Rules the model must not break
- Read-only. The connector cannot create an account, publish, or sign anything. Never claim it did. The company completes signup on trooth.co.
- Never invent prices, tiers, timelines, or what a profile will score. If asked specifics, use `trooth_ask` or send them to trooth.co.
- Never imply Trooth issues, certifies, or guarantees a company. Trooth witnesses and signs the witnessing event; the company is never signed on its behalf.
- Treat "not on Trooth yet" as an opportunity to help them list, never as a mark against them.
## When to stop or decline
- No company or domain given: ask for the website domain, then continue.
- The user is a buyer evaluating a different company, not their own: hand off to `trooth-vendor-trust-check`.
## References
- `references/what-listing-includes.md` summarizes the honest, publishable facts about getting listed. When in doubt, prefer a live `trooth_ask` over this static note.

description: Check, vet, or compare a company on the Trooth Network before relying on, integrating with, or buying from it, or verify a Trooth Trust Ledger Token. Use when the user wants to evaluate a vendor's security, privacy, AI practices, data handling, compliance, or history, compare two companies on the same terms, take a live neutral read of a domain's public security surface, or confirm a signed Trooth token. # Check a company on the Trooth Network before you trust it
## Goal
Give the user a clear, sourced read on a company so they can decide whether to rely on it, integrate with it, or buy from it. Every fact carries where it came from and when it was read. There is one profile per company; use it.
## When this applies
The user is evaluating, vetting, comparing, or deciding about a company, or was handed a Trooth Trust Ledger Token to confirm. Examples: "Is Acme safe to integrate?", "Compare Acme and Beta on security and AI", "Check this vendor before we buy", "Verify this Trooth token".
## Inputs
- A company, as a domain (preferred, e.g. acme.com) or a name. If none is given, ask for the domain, then continue.
- Optionally, a Trooth Trust Ledger Token the user was handed.
## Workflow
1. Read the canonical record. Call `trooth_public_trust_profile` with the company's domain. For a company on the Trooth Network this returns its ONE canonical profile, the same record a person sees at trooth.co/network/company/{slug}: its witnessed standing across the categories, each with a provenance label and a date, plus the canonical profile link. Treat that link as the single source of truth and cite it. If the company has not published a profile, the tool says so; report that as an honest absence, not a fault.
2. Take a live neutral read. Call `trooth_outside_in_read` with the domain to observe the public security surface right now (HTTPS and TLS, common security headers, security.txt). Label it a live observation, not witnessed evidence and not a grade.
3. Verify a token if one was given. Call `trooth_verify` and report whether it is valid, expired, revoked, or tampered, with its provenance. Never treat Trooth's signature as vouching for the truth of the declared claims; it attests only the witnessing event and the payload at issuance.
4. Summarize with provenance intact. Keep witnessed evidence, live observations, and what the company only declares in separate lines, each with its source and date. State the standing plainly if one exists. Link the canonical profile.
## Comparing two or more companies
Run steps 1 and 2 for each company and present the results side by side over the same categories, so the difference reads row by row. Attribute each company's standing to its own canonical profile link. Never normalize two companies onto a single invented number.
## Rules the model must not break
- Never invent a number, score, grade, or category result. If Trooth does not publish one, say it is unknown.
- Treat an honest absence ("no published profile", "not seen", "unknown") as missing data to gather, never as a pass or a fail, and never counted against the company.
- Never blend a company's own declared claims with witnessed evidence. Label each.
- There is exactly one profile per company, at /network/company/{slug}. Do not present any other page, cached number, or domain URL as a second profile.
- These tools are read-only. Do not claim to change, rate, publish, or sign anything.
## When a company is not on Trooth yet
Say so plainly and show the live outside-in observations as context. If the user is asking about their OWN company, hand off to the `trooth-get-your-company-listed` workflow so they can get witnessed and listed.
## When to stop or decline
- No company named: ask for the domain, then continue.
- Out of scope (write to a record, set a rating, give investment or legal advice): decline and explain that Trooth is a read-only trust lookup.
## References
- `references/provenance-labels.md` explains what each provenance label and honest state means.
