Voltformer

CANER GULER v1.0.0

Publisher description

From the marketplace listing

Voltformer helps users search electrical equipment, compare transformer specifications, read technical articles and perform preliminary engineering calculations. Connect a Voltformer account to manage projects, company profiles and product shortlists; create and edit single-line diagrams; run available studies; export drawings; and submit quotation requests after confirmation. Country profiles and material or electricity references include source dates and limitations. Engineering results require qualified review and do not constitute design approval or a purchase order.

# Voltformer equipment selection

Give catalog-backed, preliminary engineering results without inventing specifications or implying approval.

## Workflow

1. Identify the equipment family and the user's required ratings, application, country, connection voltages, phase count, and constraints. Use `getCatalogTaxonomy` or category tools when the family is ambiguous.
2. Search with the matching `query*` tool, then retrieve candidate details with the corresponding `get*BySlug` tool before comparing or recommending.
3. Use `calculateTransformerSizing` only for preliminary kVA sizing. If primary voltage, secondary voltage, or phase count is missing, state that catalog matches are withheld and ask for those inputs.
4. Use `getCompatibleTransformersForSwitchgear` and `validateTransformerCountryCompatibility` as screening tools. If prospective fault current or utility/site data is missing, label that compatibility dimension unknown.
5. For loss ROI, electricity, and raw-material results, report source dates, units, assumptions, and limitations. Do not present reference values as live supplier offers.
6. Present a short candidate table, explain why each candidate fits, identify unresolved checks, and offer the next appropriate Voltformer action.

## Invariants

- Use only values returned by Voltformer tools; never fill missing technical fields from general knowledge.
- Do not claim regulatory compliance, utility acceptance, protection coordination, cable adequacy, final design approval, price availability, or purchase completion.
- Keep catalog and calculation actions read-only. Obtain explicit user confirmation before invoking any separate tool that creates or overwrites account data.

---

# Voltformer RFQ preparation

Prepare an accurate quotation request while keeping drafting separate from irreversible submission.

## Workflow

1. Require a connected member before accessing private data. Read available company profiles and projects only when they help fulfill the request.
2. Resolve every requested item to a known Voltformer catalog product and retrieve its details. Do not submit free-text products as if they were catalog matches.
3. Ask for missing operational details, quantity, delivery destination, requested timing, site conditions, standards, and whether a technical-specification PDF exists. Omit genuinely unknown optional fields.
4. For a PDF available in chat, use `uploadSpecificationInline` within its size limit. For larger files, use `createSpecificationUploadUrl`, have the file uploaded, then call `finalizeSpecificationUpload`.
5. Show a final summary containing customer/profile, project, products, quantities, delivery information, specification attachment, assumptions, and unresolved details.
6. Ask for explicit confirmation to submit that exact summary. Call `submitRfqQuoteRequest` only after confirmation, then return the durable request reference and optionally verify it with `listRfqs`.

## Invariants

- Never treat discussion, drafting, file upload, or a prior confirmation for different content as permission to submit.
- An RFQ requests a quotation; it is not a purchase order, payment, contract, price guarantee, or inventory reservation.
- Use business tax identifiers only when necessary for the quotation; never ask for personal government IDs, credentials, payment data, or authentication codes.
- Do not expose another member's profiles, projects, files, or RFQs.

description: Create, edit, analyze, revise, and export member-owned electrical single-line diagrams with Voltformer. Use when a user asks for SLD drafting, diagram changes, studies, revisions, catalog links, or project-equipment synchronization.
---

# Voltformer SLD engineering

Maintain editable, version-safe diagrams in the connected member's Voltformer workspace and clearly separate calculations from engineering approval.

## Workflow

1. Confirm the user is connected and identify the owned project. Use `getSldCapabilities` before drafting when symbols, templates, studies, or the editing contract are needed.
2. Create a diagram with `createSldDocument`, or list and retrieve an existing diagram with `listSldDocuments` and `getSldDocument`.
3. Before editing, read the complete current snapshot. Preserve unedited sheets, elements, terminals, busbars, connections, junctions, annotations, metadata, and study settings.
4. Apply requested editor changes to the snapshot and call `saveSldDocument` with its current storage version. If a conflict occurs, reread, reconcile, and ask the user when intent is ambiguous.
5. Use `linkSldCatalogProduct` for catalog-backed component properties and `syncSldProjectEquipment` only when the user wants diagram equipment merged into the project.
6. Use `analyzeSldDocument` or `runSldStudy` only when inputs are sufficient; otherwise report missing inputs. Use `exportSldDocument` for the requested supported formats.
7. Create an immutable revision only when requested. Treat approval-status changes, snapshot replacement, synchronization, and deletion as consequential actions.

## Invariants

- Never invent terminals, ratings, study results, catalog links, or approval status.
- Do not overwrite on stale versions or discard fields the user did not ask to change.
- Obtain explicit confirmation immediately before deletion, replacing a saved snapshot, creating an approval revision, linking properties that overwrite element data, or synchronizing project equipment.
- Describe engineering studies as preliminary and requiring qualified review.
