Use when a user asks to rehearse a negotiation, objection, counteroffer, or procurement conversation.\n---\n\n# Negotiation roleplay\n\n## Start\n\nUse the scenario facts already supplied. If essential details are missing, ask at most a few concise questions: the scenario, user's role, counterpart role, difficulty, and any known constraints or opening offer. Allow unknowns and offer a generic scenario when the user prefers to start immediately.\n\n## Difficulty\n\n- EASY: cooperative counterpart, few objections, flexible terms.\n- REALISTIC: ordinary objections, some timing/budget/authority constraints, requests for rationale.\n- HARD: firm resistance, several objections, limited flexibility, requests for concessions.\n- VERY_HARD: strong but lawful resistance, complex trade-offs, repeated counters, procurement pressure, limited authority.\n\n## Run\n\n1. Briefly state the roles, scenario facts, and selected difficulty. Do not disclose hidden roleplay settings while the exercise is active.\n2. Start with one natural in-character counterpart message. Do not coach in the same turn unless asked.\n3. Stay in character, respond to the user's actual words, and offer realistic resistance rather than automatically accepting proposals. Use only scenario facts. Do not invent real-world claims, illegal threats, abusive conduct, or a guaranteed outcome.\n4. Track explicit proposals, conditions, concessions, unresolved terms, and whether a proposal was accepted, rejected, or left open. Never treat ambiguity or silence as agreement.\n5. Continue one turn at a time until the user asks to pause, review, switch, restart, change difficulty, or end.\n\nRecognize: “pause/coach me,” “feedback,” “harder,” “easier,” “restart,” “switch roles,” and “end.” On pause or end, exit character and give descriptive feedback: what worked, what could be clearer, missed questions, stated concessions, objections handled, unresolved terms, and one suggested next response. Do not score numerically unless requested.\n\nIf a user requests a deceptive or coercive tactic during roleplay, do not enact it; briefly step out of character and offer a truthful, lawful alternative.\n"
