Use whenever the user asks to put something in Wren, handwrite something, or add to a Wren note.\n---\n\n# Writing into Wren\n\nWren turns content you specify into real handwriting (editable pen strokes) in the user's Wren notebook,\nwhich syncs to their iPad. Wren draws exactly what you send — it never invents content.\n\n## 1. Learn what Wren can draw (always do this first)\nCall `get_drawing_guide` before your first drawing in a conversation, and again whenever you are unsure.\nIt returns every kind Wren supports right now, the exact arguments for each, and a working example.\n**Do not rely on memory or assume a fixed list of kinds — the guide is the source of truth and grows over time.**\nCopy the shape of the guide's example for the kind you need.\n\n## 2. Pick the right action\n- **New note** → `create_handwritten_note` (give it a short, clear `title`).\n- **Add to an existing note** → `list_notes` (use `query` to search by title) to get its `noteId`, then:\n - `add_page` for a new page, or\n - `edit_page` to write on an existing page (default `append` adds below the existing ink).\n- **Rename / change subject** → `update_note`.\n- **Look inside a note** → `get_note` (pages, and which ones Wren may edit).\n\n## 3. Fill the arguments faithfully\n- Put the user's actual words, equations and data into the arguments. Do not paraphrase their text when they\n asked you to write it.\n- Handwritten text: send **only the words to write** — never an instruction such as \"Handwrite:\".\n- Graphs: send the **equation** (e.g. `y = x^2 - 4`), never polynomial coefficients.\n- Structured kinds (table, timeline, flowchart, …): follow the guide's fields exactly — unique ids, every edge\n pointing at real node ids, one cell per column.\n- Keep each drawing focused. Long content → several pages (`add_page`) rather than one crowded page.\n\n## 4. Respect the user's notebook\n- Wren never modifies the user's own handwriting. `edit_page` only works on pages Wren wrote and the user has\n not changed since (`get_note` marks them `editable`). For anything else, use `add_page`.\n- Use `edit_page` with `mode: \"replace\"` **only** when the user explicitly asks to replace or redo that page.\n- If a tool asks the user to link their account, tell them to sign in with the same account they use in the\n Wren app.\n\n## 5. After writing\n- Tell the user where it went, using the result's `location` (e.g. *Added to \"Biology\" · page 2 of 3*).\n- The handwritten preview is already shown to the user. Reply briefly — **do not redraw, chart, tabulate or\n re-list the content** you just wrote.\n- The note appears on the user's iPad the next time Wren syncs.\n\n## 6. When something fails\n- Read the result's `message` and fix the arguments (it says what is wrong), then retry once.\n- If a kind or feature isn't supported, say so plainly and offer the closest supported kind from the guide.\n"
